The Science of Skating continues to produce top hockey players at all levels. Scott is available for individual, team and hockey school oriented programs in Victoria, Langford and Shawnigan Lake areas.

Scott Grover

  • Age: 54

Hockey Skating Background:

  • Started playing hockey at age 4
  • Played Hockey in the Woodstock Minor Hockey Assoc. up to Bantam
  • Returned to hockey in College
  • Played one year in the NCAA loop at Conestoga College
  • Started the “Scott Grover’s” Power Skating School in 1988 in Kitchener
  • In 1995 started the “Science of Skating” Power Skating Schools in Barrie.

Figure Skating Background:

  • Competed for Canada for 5 years
  • Novice Pair Champion of Canada 1983
  • Junior Pair Champion of Canada 1984
  • Competed at the Canadian Championships in Singles for 6 years
  • Turned Professional in 1988:
  • Signed a Pro contract with Walt Disney’s World on Ice as a Singles Principal Performer (1 Year)
  • Toured with Champions on Ice for one season
  • Signed again with Disney’s World on Ice as a Pair Principal Performer (3 Years)
  • Started Teaching with Mariposa School of Skating in 1994
